What qualifications are needed to apply?
AEON Medical Transport – Driver Qualifications
To apply as a driver with AEON Medical Transport, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Age Requirement

Must be at least 21 years old.
License

Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license (standard operator’s license).

CDL is not required for vehicles under 26,000 lbs GVWR.
Medical Clearance

Must complete a DOT Medical Examination and carry a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).

Must be physically able to assist patients safely in and out of the vehicle.
Driving Record

Provide a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 3 years.

No DUI, reckless driving, or major violations in the past 5 years.
Background & Screening

Must pass a criminal background check.

Must pass a drug and alcohol screening (per company policy, even if not CDL-mandated).
Experience & Skills

Prior professional driving experience preferred (delivery, transport, or NEMT).

Ability to operate GPS/dispatch systems.
